Zoie Palmer stars as Canadian Coast Guard Rescue Specialist Carly Greig, a character she describes as ‘a walking contradiction.’ “She's a fighter and tough and intelligent, motivated and loyal, but she's also scared and vulnerable. I think Carly's afraid of getting close to people because her experience has been that people leave. She's interesting and complicated and I just love playing her.”
Born in Wilthshire and raised in Cornwall, England, Palmer's love of acting began at an early age, and she performed in numerous school plays and community theatre. Determined to follow her dream, Palmer moved to Toronto where she graduated from York University's Theatre Program.
