So are The Guard guest stars Teryl Rothery and Colin Cunningham - the latter is a triple nominee like Ryan Robbins. The LEO AWARDS will also be featured as a television special of Shaw TV’s The Express. It airs weeknights at 6 pm. "Join host Johanna Ward for Vancouver’s only completely on location program. The Express is a lifestyle magazine program that brings you an in-depth look at the fascinating people, events, recreation and attractions from Greater Vancouver and the Fraser Valley." 2008 April 30 - Renewal, nominations and filming againThe Guard has been renewed for a second season of nine episodes, making the total number 22 episodes. It's a little confusing though. Originally, the first season was planned to be 13 episodes and the second season 9, but due to breaking for the winter, season One was only 7 episodes and season Two will now be 16 episodes. For a total of 22 episodes. Season Two should start airing in September - as far as I know. Hopefully Global will rerun the first 7 episodes before season Two starts.
